WVU Medicine Children’s Arcad-a-thon
Doors open at 9 am, Saturday, December 16, 2017 until ??
Admission is a donation at the door for all the free play arcade and console gaming action you can handle.
(Recommended $5/person $20/Family)
Prizes will be from a variety of places as Santa is paying us a visit early. 50/50 Raffle, Prize Raffle, Giveaways for those in attendance every hour and much, much more!!
All Donations go toward helping meet the goals of our Charity!
Here is a brief synopsis of our charity:
Starport is committed to being engaged in the community. Our staff is excited to embark on this mission with the wonderful people of WVU Medicine Children’s. Our plan is to supply the current Children’s facility with mobile gaming units that can easy be brought to the children in their rooms for entertainment while in the hospital. We are also extending an invitation to the kids after leaving the hospital to stop by for some free food and games at Starport. Additionally we invite the parents of those children requiring long-term stays at Children’s to come down, game, and have a meal on us free of charge. We can make a difference in the lives of those dealing with difficult times by bringing them the enjoyment of gaming.
WVU Children’s will be going on a long journey to a new facility that was just announced. Our stretch goal will be to place a proxy Starport in Children’s so the community can enjoy Starport absolutely free and on site!!
Let’s make this ship fly to new heights as we kick off the end of the year with MVU Medicine Children’s Arcad-a-Thon.
