On Monday, May 20, 2013, a 2 mile wide tornado ripped through Moore, Oklahoma, leaving a massive path of destruction killing at least 51 people, destroying entire tracts of homes, piling cars atop each other, and trapping dozens of children under rubble. Hundreds lost their homes and all of their possessions.
This weekend, Whisper Nightclub teams up with the American Red Cross in an effort to raise funds to help relieve some of those in need. Whisper will be hosting a 2 day fundraising event Friday and Saturday this weekend.
This event will be fully sanctioned and supported by Morgantowns chapter of the American Red Cross. 100% of optional cover charge will be going to Red Cross in a specially provided Red Cross lock box along with $1 of each designated speciality drink sold the entire weekend. Whisper will also be donating 20% of the weekends total profits to the cause.
Friday – Music by DJ Yemi – Hosted by Former WVU standout John Flowers.
Saturday – Music by DJ Radcon5 plus prizes and giveaways.
