The meat is always cooked great and the buns have just the right amount of crisp. But that’s not why you will go to Tailpipes. This is a fantastic and unique burger joint with extremely reasonable prices. A definite restaurant for the adventurous.

They serve things like the Charger (a personal favorite), which is a burger topped with pepper-jack cheese, peanut butter, bananas, and bacon; and their sweet potato fries are the best I’ve had. The saying “don’t knock it ’til you try it” has never found such a comfortable home as this. If you’re so inclined, the burger meat can be replaced with turkey or buffalo meat.

The decor has that retro look going for it, with spacious, comfortable booths. A great joint for hanging out with friends, but not really a date place.
