Being born in the city of Columbus, Ohio he moved to where the air was clean and the wildlife howled and growled. He currently calls the North Central part of West Virginia his home and is based in the college towns of Fairmont and Morgantown.<\/p>\n<p>His love of music began at an early age listening to old school R &amp; B, original Hip Hop, and 70\u2019s &amp; 80\u2019s Rock. The \u201cNewcleus\u201d of his love formed from the classic sound of \u201cJam on It\u201d at age four. Growing up in a close knit society that stuck to itself he longed for a way to outwardly express his individuality. He escaped the sound of the trains that carried coal in up and down the valleys by engulfing himself in the sounds that made his heart beat and his thoughts race. He had a dying need to bring this feeling to everyone he encountered.<\/p>\n<p>He was a young black man in a time when things were changing fast and the world around him was beginning to shape the current culture. He wanted to make his own personal impact so he started with the only thing that was accessible to him, a double deck cassette deck and CD player. He rocked the party with his minimal equipment and fell in love with the art DJ\u2019ing.<\/p>\n<p>He since has spread his vast array of knowledge to the digital age by using state of the art equipment. He has performed on the same stage as Bubba Sparxxx, Mix Master Mike, Naughty by Nature, and many other award winning artists. He has dominated the tables in many venues throughout the mid Atlantic region. His associations with the music industry extend to legends such as Fat Man Scoop and Co Co Chanel.<br \/>\nHe is currently associated with North Central West Virginia\u2019s DJ Community. The talent displayed in the local area is that to be recognized. He has performed with such local celebrity DJ\u2019s as Ben McMillian, Sean Nice, and Bearcat.<br \/>\nKnowing the struggle that it takes to get through being a teenager, he has chosen to donate his time and knowledge to the under privileged youth in West Virginia. He currently is working with America\u2019s Future Foundation Inc. through the TYDE (Talented Youth and Development Education) program where he gives the young people a sense of self and a way to positively express themselves.<\/p>\n<p>He has been DJ\u2019ing professionally for over 7 years. He can accommodate any festivity. He has done many club parties, weddings, high school proms, middle school dances, fundraisers, Special Olympics dance, and a Homecoming Dance for Fairmont State University.<br \/>\nDJ Strizy brings a sense of euphoric elevation through his personal style and devotion to the elements of music that bring your senses alive.
